Today our exploration took us to the Washington, Idaho and Oregon borders. We drove "The Old Spiral Road," which was part of the Lewis & Clark Trail. The drive to the road was just spectacular, and my pictures don't really do it justice. The fields are bright green with winter wheat, and the farms & barns are so interesting. Temperatures were in the low 50's, which was another treat for us. It's bitterly cold and snowy at home, so this is a good time to be gone. Tomorrow we will head for Seattle.
