
On Saturday, February 20th, Tim and I took off for the great northwest. Our son, Zach, and his wife Chelsea, live in the Seattle area, but for a few months they're living apart as Zach finishes up a course for Golf Course Management. That school is in Walla Walla, WA so we had a chance to explore a new area of the United States.
The first part of the journey was not much fun. We ran into heavy snow in the Cheyenne, WY area, and had to battle terrible road conditions.

"Photos to Remember" is a second career for me, and I'm having a great time. In my other life I taught in our elementary school and had the opportunity to photograph school-related activities. One thing led to another, and upon retirement I was able to establish a photography business. People say I have the ability to work patiently with children, and I feel that being flexible and patient are key traits in this business. I photograph families, children of all ages, high school seniors, small weddings, sports teams, and other interesting projects that catch my attention.
